Nothing beats a glorious stroll through nature, especially somewhere as iconic as the Peak District. But what if we told you you could make that trip even more wonderful?

Combining alpacas with the beautiful landscape that is the Peak District, The Peak District Alpaca Experience allows guests to escape reality and enter a world where all you have to worry about is chilling with the giant ball of fluff next to you, 1200ft high into the sky. Sounds heavenly.
There are six alpacas as part of the experience, which takes place in Buxton, who promise to be just as cute and friendly as you’d hope, all waiting to be walked by their newfound friends into a huge field where they can freely graze and play, before heading to their shelter.
The whole experience lasts for two hours, and guests can expect to be able to feed the fluffy little buggers, take photos with them and try to get a few strokes in there, too, before heading off for tea and cake at the nearby farmhouse. Can’t get any more wholesome than that.

The organisers walk the alpacas daily, and should you wish to join, they’ll choose a Peak District walking route to suit your ability.
The experience is set to start again soon following the pandemic, with tickets priced at just £25pp for the full experience (or £10 for accompanying adults). To book or find out more, head to their website here.
