Fancy big juicy burgers, bbq ribs and other smoked meats? Then you’ll be excited to know that East Yorkshire is getting its own taste of BBQ with the opening of smokehouse restaurant Red’s True Barbecue in Hull. The new addition to Hull’s food scene will be a welcome addition to East Yorkshire city.
Red’s True already have a successful branch in Leeds and are now moving over to the coast spreading their love of all things meaty. The Texas-style grill with pulled pork and hot dogs and other slow-cooked meat with specially crafted rubs and seasonings in casual wood and brick filled canteen.

The new Hull branch will take up residence in the legendary Princess Quay, which sits in the city centre. Hull is starting to see real change with the likes of the Fruit Market and Old Town transforming into unique food and drink venues that have people travelling to the city to visit.
The Texas-style restaurant already has other venues across the country in Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Leicester. They also sell amazing doughnut bun burgers and cheesy mac n cheese ball sides that will leave you needing to loosen your belt.

Also opening soon in Hull city centre is the new ‘healthy’ German Doner Kebab on Jameson Street. Forget about your dreary doner meats inside a sorry pitta bread from your local takeaway, these gourmet kebabs will have you going back for more. The conversion is underway at the moment where William Hill and Shoe one used to be.
There is currently no opening date for the new restaurant but keep your eyes peeled as you won’t want to miss out. You’ll surely find us there with the meat sweats.
