Reuben Owen reveals he’s separated from long-time girlfriend and co-star Sarah Dow, marking the end of their two-year relationship. He made the announcement via his appearance on Lorraine Kelly’s show on ITV, when discussions new Channel 5 series Reuben Owen: Life In The Dales.
The questioning headed towards his relationship, and Reuben admitted, “Sarah and I were once an item, but we’ve since gone our separate ways. Despite this, we remain close friends. Sarah has chosen to focus on her own career endeavours, occasionally lending her talents to our projects when her schedule permits.”
Acknowledging the support of their families, Reuben expressed gratitude, stating, “We are fortunate to have such supportive parents who continue to offer guidance and assistance. Both my father and mother actively contribute, with my dad providing valuable expertise in machinery operation.”
Reuben discussed his father’s departure from the show earlier this month, Reuben saying, “It was initially planned as a spin-off series, Beyond the Yorkshire Farm. My dad played a crucial role during the company’s inception, imparting essential knowledge on equipment maintenance. As our confidence grew, he returned to his passion for farming, allowing me to take the reins independently.”
Reuben Owen: Life in the Yorkshire Dales picks up where Beyond the Yorkshire Farm left off, delving into Reuben’s second year of entrepreneurship. The current season showcases has proved popular showcasing largest project to date—a substantial excavation endeavour spanning half an acre of silt on a rural estate in County Durham.
