Sir David Jason Revisits ‘Only Fools and Horses’ In Christmas Special On Channel 5 Tomorrow Night

“Stick a pony in me pocket, fetch the suitcase from the van.” Oh, we can hear it now – and cannot wait for the new one-off special featuring iconic actor David Jason returning to his role as Derek Trotter in a Christmas special of Only Fools and Horses.

The 83-year-old, renowned for his portrayal of the endearing wheeler-dealer Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter in the enduring sitcom, will grace TV screens once again tomorrow, Sunday 24th December (Christmas Eve) in a brand-new program.

We’ve already enjoyed the All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special, that got us feeling festive after a tiring run up to Christmas. And, now we can’t wait to sit down in front of the tele for Channel 5’s 90-minute special The Story of Only Fools and Horses, which is set to delve into the festive episodes of the sitcom.

Yorkshire even gets a nob in the episode as ‘To Hull and Back,’ as Sir David Jason’s shares his personal favourite among the 20 Christmas episodes he participated in.

David along with fellow cast and crew members, including Tessa Peake-Jones, who portrayed his on-screen partner Raquel, along with avid fans of the show such as Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Sherrie Hewson.

The Daily Star reports that the Sun earlier this year: “It wouldn’t be Christmas without the Trotters, so this is a great way for viewers to get their Only Fools fix. Producers were delighted when David was passed fit to appear following his surgery, so the special will be cushty for fans.”

Don’t miss the Channel 5 show, set to air at 9pm – and will feature on My5 if you miss it.
