Meadowhall’s popular Summer Beach Club is set to return for 2025, and it promises to be bigger and better than before, marking the centre’s 35th anniversary in South Yorkshire.
Starting back in 2023, the annual event brings family-friendly entertainment to the transformed Orange Car Park area, including a sandy beach, three pools and tons of fairground rides to enjoy.
Opening just in time for the summer holidays, visitors can expect the event’s biggest sandy beach yet, alongside a brand new ‘Live Lounge’ stage and DJ sets. The AquaSplash water park, a beach bar and plenty of street food stalls will also return.

At the fairground, popular rides such as the Magic Mouse rollercoaster, waltzers, and dodgems will return, with the addition of the 45-metre Star Flyer, an exhilarating new addition offering the ultimate viewpoint above the city.
For the grown-ups, the Beach Retreat will become Sheffield’s most exotic destination, boasting a 1,000sqm beach setting complete with daybeds, parasols and an adult-only bar serving summer cocktails, beers and wines to a laidback soundtrack.

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re so excited to be welcoming the Summer Beach Club back for its third year – bigger, better and packed full of fun! It is always a huge hit with families and friends from across Yorkshire and beyond offering affordable fun for all ages to enjoy throughout the summer.
“This is just the start of our summer of celebrations for our 35th anniversary – we can’t wait to reveal what else is in store!”
The Summer Beach Club opens at 5pm on Friday 18th July and will run until Sunday 31st August. Tickets start at just £2, and you can find out more here.
