One Of Yorkshire’s Finest Michelin Star Restaurants Has Created An ‘At Home’ Experience

Brightening up lockdown in the best way possible, one of Yorkshire’s finest Michelin Star restaurants – The Angel at Hetton – has launched brand new at-home experiences, allowing customers to enjoy their delectable dishes in the comfort of their own homes.

Offering up weekly delivery dates, Chef Michael Wignall and his team have designed and prepared a number of tasting menus – with vegetarian options catered for.

Changing it up every week, dishes on offer include slow cooked salt aged pork with a barrel- aged maple glaze, aged Yorkshire duck and beef wellington.

Home experiences start at £110 and serve two people, with all food pre-prepared with instructions on how to do the rest. The boxes also include a selection of cheese, sourdough bread, a dessert and sweet treats – in addition to three savoury dishes.

The boxes make for the ideal Valentine’s treat, with delivery available for the 12th February. The restaurant also offers a selection of recommended wine pairings, that can be purchased on top of the at-home experiences.

The Angel Inn at Hetton has long been known as one of Yorkshire’s finest dining establishments, most recently receiving the honour of one Michelin Star in the 2020 Michelin guide. Back in 2010, the much-loved Skipton country hotel and restaurant featured in Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon’s The Trip, which saw the comedy duo travel the North of England trying out some of Yorkshire and Cumbria’s finest dining spots.
