Christmas is a time for overindulging in all those goodies we avoid the rest of the year (well – try to). We love the restive menus that appear this time of year and the hanging turkey kebabs have got us drooling ready for more. Head over and give The Botanist Christmas menu a try this year.
The Botanist, which can be found in Leeds, Sheffield and York has released its festive menu and there are some tasty treats on it for you to try. They’ve given their iconic hanging kebabs a festive makeover introducing orange and turkey glazed hanging kebabs with all the trimmings.

Hanging kebab lovers can enjoy a sharing option which includes chicken, crispy halloumi and a lamb kofta kebab on a triple-skewer rack. On the side comes seasoned fries, coleslaw, houmous and flatbread. Dinner for three or a feast for one if you like to gorge like us.
Our new fave is the turkey and camembert burger with maple glazed bacon and cranberry sauce topped with a giant pig in a blanket. The sides are just as tasty and include a bowl of pigs in blankets glazed with orange and cranberry, a calorific truffle camembert fondue and a three-cheese bake man ‘n’ cheese.

There are also sharing board with a variety of options to mix ‘n’ match along with a range of vegan options including bang bang cauliflower, superfood salad, sweet potato houmous, crispy porcini gnocchi with truffle mustard mayo and roasted tomato soup.
A limited edition After Eights or Celebrations cookie dough flavour has been added to The Botanists’ winter menu as well as some festive cocktails. We’ll be chasing it all down with a festive old-fashioned cocktail.

James Scott, the Executive Chef for The Botanist, said, “This time of year is all about celebration and enjoying good food with loved ones and that feels even more so the case this winter after our get-togethers have been restricted for the past couple of Christmases.
“With this menu we wanted to showcase a modern take on comfort food with festive flavours that taste luxurious and indulgent, offering our diners a seasonal update to the signature dishes they’ve come to know and love when visiting our restaurants.”
We can’t wait to try these amazing festive treats this Christmas period! If you like the idea of a hanging Christmas dinner, why not also try this Yorkshire farm’s pigs in blanket kebabs. They’re sure to not disappoint.
