The Yorkshire Christmas Market In A Stunning Courtyard With A 45ft Tree This Weekend

With so much happening over the Christmas period, and only a certain amount of Christmas markets and events; It’s hard to know which to choose. This market at the beautiful Piece Hall in Halifax, West Yorkshire, might just make that decision a little easier.

Christmas is our favourite time of year. You can wander around these beautiful markets and enjoy the twinkling lights, beautiful aromas and much more. And, boy does Yorkshire have some fantastically beautiful places to visit from quaint market towns to our huge cities.

Each year the 66,000 sqft open-courtyard is transformed into a magical festive market with the whiff of bratwurst and mulled wine filling the air. You can make your way around 50 alpine stalls with independent and artisan produces and makers selling handmade goods, jewellery as well as serving great food and drink.

The markets are set to open this weekend on Friday 24th November from 10am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

If that’s not all they also host a range of musical entertainment with this year’s line up includes Craig Charles, martin Kemp, and The Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberley Wyatt as well as shows, workshops and events over the festive season.

The shows will take place inside the magical vintage style big-top with a gorgeous red-velvet interior. The courtyard of the Grade-I listed Piece Hall will also be home to a Victorian carousel, vintage big wheel and of course a 45ft Christmas tree.
