This Leeds venue, Waterlane Boathouse has been celebrating its five-year anniversary and is continuing the celebrations with a massive event this May Bank Holiday. If tacos and tequila aren’t the sign of a good time then I don’t know what is. We think they’re the tastiest of treats, and a great way to mark the holiday weekend than with some Mexican food and drink.
One of our favourite restaurants, Water Lane Boathouse, has announced via their social media that the three-day festival, which runs from Saturday, April 30 to Monday, May 2nd, will have enough to do throughout the bank holiday weekend.

Each day, starting at 12 p.m., food, live music, and the all-important tequila shots will be lined up, with free admission all day.
Water Lane Boathouse is a beautiful venue that is brought to you by the guys who own Headrow House & Belgrave Music Hall, two Leeds institutions. It has a warm and welcome vibe, and a cool interior and exterior as the ber garden are just as inviting.

Sabroso Street, a casual Mexican in Farsley that’s strong on taste, will be bringing the food to Waterlane Boat House on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May. You can expect pork tacos with pineapple, chamoy sauce, and radishes, among other flavour combinations.
Cazcabel Tequila is a Blue Weber Agave made spirit produced in the heights of Mexico’s Jalisco Mountains that will deliver the perfect shot for the occasion. Not a dan of tequila? They’re also serving tall drinks and cocktails, everything you need to make the perfect sunny afternoon beverage.

Waterlane Boat House announced the news via Instagram today, stating: “We just wanted to say the BIGGEST thank you to everyone who made it down this weekend and made our 5th birthday the bloomin’ best time ever. If you have the Bank Hol blues today, have no fear as we announce our Tacos and Tequila special for the Early May Bank Holiday in a couple of weeks
“@sabrosostreet are blessing us with their delish tacos over Saturday & Sunday, as well as live DJs all weekend AND our pop-up @CazcabelTequila bar – definitely an event not to be missed! Be sured to tell your friends, and we’ll see you there”.
