This Yorkshire City Named As One Of The Happiest Places To Live In The UK

Yorkshire’s biggest city of Leeds, in West Yorkshire has been named on of the ‘happiest’ places to live in Britain with exployees more satisfied then other spots in the UK

The research, which was arried out by job website Glassdoor‘s economic research team found which locations were more happy based on more than 100,000 anonymous employer reviews. The study found that certain cities in the UK have exployees that are more satisfied than other with Leeds coming in sixth place.

Each city is given a score out of five and Cambridge came in first with a score of 3.91, Brighton came in second with a score of 3.88 and Bristol came in third with a score of 3.87. Leeds wasn’t too far behind as it scored 3.84.

Leeds is Yorkshire’s biggest city and has seen a huge transformation over the last decade – and is fast becoming a much-loved city in the north of England, with a bustling night life, plenty of museums and art galleries as well as a thriving music scene.

It has been named as one of the most inspiring cities in the UK, according to a study looking at a range of factors such as opportunities, venues and social media conversations.

The team at Aura Print, specialists in printing, found the topic intriguing and thus embarked on conducting research to curate a top 10 list. This investigation led them to identify Leeds as the 6th leading city due to various criteria, such as the concentration of creative jobs in the city, as well as the presences of art and design universities.
