Three Peak District Hikes Named Named In UK’s Most Scenic Routes

Is that sunshine and blue skies we see? Feels like a lifetime of cold, grey skies, but with daffodils flowering and snowdrops in full bloom signs of spring are arriving. So we are dusting off the old hiking boots and planning our trips and these three Peak District hikes named in the top 10 walks in the UK seem like the perfect place to start.

The trend for 2025 is adventure travel and hiking routes are proving to be a popular search term, but, if like us, you are new to the lifestyle you’re looking for less hardcore experiences with routes that offer a lot in the scenery, but are maybe less tricky (and by tricky, we mean hilly).

Experts at Live Football Tickets analysed over 500 routes, and considered, the length, the elevation, reviews and stunning attractions to find the perfect spots. These top then routes which include three Peak District hikes, are all moderate difficulty and circular with no recorded obstacles. Moderate hikes offer the most attractions with 341 identified making up 67% of 506 counted across all the routes.

The three Peak District routes just made the list coming 8th 9th and 10th are as follows: Padley Gorge; Teggs Nose, Ridgegate Reservoir, and Trentabank Reservoir; and Langsett Reservoir and Little Don River.
