Two Yorkshire restaurants were among the winners are the British Restaurant Awards 2023, which took place earlier last week.
The prestigious accolades fifth annual awards took place at Porchester Hall in Bayswater and saw Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield restaurants beat out the competition for their categories.
The awards provides an opportunity for customers to nominate and vote for their favourites spots in a range of categories including the best restaurants, chefs, and culinary experiences in the UK.
Cafe J’adore took home best restaurant in Bradford, Carluccios in Meadowhall took home the title of best restaurant in Sheffield, and Lala’s was named best restaurant in Leeds, both beating out stiff competition.
Lala’s beat out Michelin-star restaurant The Man Behind The Curtain as well as other Michelin star recommended spots.

Lala’s has come a long way since opening in January 2020 offering up a taste of India in a luxury setting like no other.
Carluccio’s in Sheffield is an Italian chain found across the country and took home to gold for Sheffield city.
