The chippy is great for having the choice of the large restaurant or your classic takeaway next door. Serving up highly rated top quality fish & chips with generous portions and deliciously crispy batter. They’re a proper valuable asset to the town and some say the best fish & chips on the Yorkshire Coast. We’ll let you decide that one. They’re definitely up there for us.
One our visit we got a takeaway fish & chips with curry sauce (I know it’s not traditional, but I worked in a chippy and it is always my go to). The batter was lush and cripsy with lots of flakey bits, which add a lovely bit of texture and that fish was absolutely massive.
