You Can Now Get Woolworths’ Iconic Pic N Mix This Christmas

Earlier this year we were tricked into thinking for a second that the iconic Woolies stores were making a comeback. Our rose-tinted nostalgic need for the past after the year we’ve had left us disappointed. But, fear not! Woolworth’s may not be coming back, but its Pic N Mix is!

Yep, this Christmas you can take a trip back down memory lane with all your favourite Woolies pic n mix! We remember the days of trying to jam as many sweets into the cones so that they and when they were overflowing, cramming the lid on to make sure we were getting out monies worth.

You can get hold of the nostalgic treats on the Very website for just £15.99. The jar comes with ten of your favourite pic n mix sweets including Black Jacks, Fruit Salads, Anglo Bubbly, Cola Bottles and Dolly Mixture. Also in the mix are Twin Cherries, Pear Drops, Jelly Snakes, Kola Cubes and Liquorice Allsorts.

The best part is that 100% of the profits are going to charity partner Coram Beanstalk. They recruit, train and support volunteers to provide reading support to thousands of children in the UK, which means you can enjoy your sweeties guilt-free this Christmas.

Jeremy Stevens, Very’s category director, said: “So many of us have fond childhood memories of Woolworths’ amazing selection of sweets.”

“The launch of this much-loved product is a fun and nostalgic way to support our charity partner, Coram Beanstalk, to help them raise much-needed funds for the great work they do.”

Ginny Lunn, MD of Coram Beanstalk, added: “Coram Beanstalk is as happy as a child in a sweet shop to be receiving 100% of the profits from Very’s launch of Woolworths Pic n Mix.

“The money raised will go towards helping those children who need extra support to catch up after this year of disrupted schooling.”

If you’d like to get them as a present, or for yourself visit the Very website here.
