Yorkshire Michelin Star Restaurant Is Offering Valentine’s Day Cook-Along At Home Kit

Valentine’s Day is usually the one time of your that you and your significant other brave leaving the house with your best clothes on to enjoy a romantic meal and a few bevvies. This year – as we are in lockdown – things are going to be a little different. But – never fear, Michelin star restaurant in Leeds, is doing a Valentine’s Day cook-along – and it is available for nationwide delivery.

Man Behind The Curtain Chef, Michael O’Hare is offering a chance to experience their food in your own home. You will receive instructions and a video, that will be launched early so you can do it whenever you wish. It’s designed so you cook together and enjoy a special meal this Valentine’s

The meal includes four courses which are:

Oysters with strawberry kimchi

Aged Beef tartare, gordal olive juice and beef fat

Iberico Pork char Sui, langoustine hand rolls sushi rice. Plated onto your own canvas (provided in the box) for you to decorate with edible inks

Chocolate and Orange Heart

O’Hare describes the ethos for his restaurant saying: “The Man Behind The Curtain is more than a restaurant for me. It is where I am able to express myself with flavour and aesthetic. The cuisine is my couture, bold in flavour with inspiration from around the world. Brutalist in design, yet fun.”
