A Yorkshire Pudding Festival Is Coming To Leeds With Tons Of Puds & Beers

Following its debut in Leeds back in 2019, the Yorkshire Pudding Festival is set to come back with a bang this October, promising to be “bigger, ‘batter’ and bolder” as it prepares to take over the rooftop of Leeds Docks’ Citipark multistory.

Showcasing the versatility of Yorkshire’s favourite side dish, the Yorkshire Pudding Festival will welcome an array of food traders from all over the UK – with the likes of Aunt Bessie’s, the Yorkshire Pudding Pie Co. and even Northern Monk in attendance for the festival’s first year at Leeds Kirkgate Market.

Each trader will put their own spin on the classic Yorkshire pudding, bringing the side dish to life in both sweet and savoury dishes. Yorkshire pudding desserts? You’ve got it. Yorkshire pudding with curries? Ding ding ding. Whatever you could dream up, the festival is sure to deliver.

In addition to delicious grub, the festival will also host an array of bars, craft & charity stalls, cooking demos and bake-offs alongside live music, with plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy, too.

One confirmed special guest set to be in attendance this year includes the Yorkshire Pudding Beer Brewery – which has become well known for its Yorkshire Pudding beer, whisky, vodka and gin.

At this year’s festival, you can expect food stalls with cuisines from all over the world (inside Yorkshire Puddings of course), multiple bars, craft & charity stalls, cooking demos & bake-offs, and live music throughout the entire weekend on the Gravy Stage, and a kids activity area.

Much to our delight, one of the bars will be run by the Yorkshire Pudding Beer Brewery who will be showcasing their Yorkshire Pudding Beer, Yorkshire Pudding Whisky, Yorkshire Pudding and Strawberry Jam Vodka, Yorkshire Pudding and Strawberry Jam Gin and Yorkshire Pudding Pink Gin!

A new ‘Pud Pro’s’ tent will also pop up this year, with a number of celebrity chefs making up the roster for the tent’s live cooking demos.

The Yorkshire Pudding Festival was set to make its post-Covid return last summer at the Camp Hill Estate, however, was hugely affected by the ongoing pandemic.

The Yorkshire Pudding Festival is taking place on the 1st and 2nd of October 2022. Find out more and get tickets here.
