Yorkshire’s top shopping centre is set to transform for the festive period. Meadhowhall has announced its Magical Winterland experience, which will transform the South Yorkshire spot into a winter dream fun for all the family.

Set to launch on Friday 22nd November, you can expect a whole host of festive fun in the centre’s Orange Car Park which will be a dazzling winter wonderland fun for all ages. The experience promises plenty of fun for those wanting to embrace the festive season.

Expect to don your skates and glide across the 650sqm covered ice rink, enjoy the frivolities on the seasonal-themed fairground rides and even meet the big man himself, Santa who’s making an appearance in the new immersive grotto experience.

Once you’ve worn yourselves out on all the rides you can cool down with a drink at the alpine-themed bar soaking in the festive cheer. Don’t forget to browse the range of gifts on offer for any last minute shopping bits.

The Magical Winterland announcement comes following the reveal of a spectacular Christmas circus featuring acrobats, jugglers and trapeze artists in dazzling costumes, bringing the magic of street-style theatre to Meadowhall’s The Avenue. Circus performances will take place in the mall on weekends from 7th November until Christmas Eve.

Magical Winterland opens weekdays from 3pm to 9pm and from 10am to 9pm at weekends and during the holidays. Entry is free, with selected attractions available for online booking.
