Christmas chat in August? Surely not? Well, this one is just too good not to start chatting about. But this Christmas light trail at Roundayhay Park organised by Sony Music and created by Culture Creative is too good not to shout about.
Visitors will wander through an immersive light & sound experience choreographed carefully to offer a festive treat for all the senses.
We can all agree that it has been a fairly successful summer, the weather has been hot with a few heatwaves allowing us to enjoy a staycation.
But, if you’re like us and you enjoy the snug feeling of autumn and winter you’ll be happy to know that events for the coming months aren’t starting to be announced so we can all get planning.
What is to be expected? Find out below…
You can expect a flickering fire garden, wild wicker sculptures and magical light creations that promise picture-perfect moments worthy of Insta, TikTok and all those other places where you love to share your memories.
Not only will the Christmas light trail at Roundhay Park offer an amazing & illuminating family experience, but it will also be full of independent street food vendors ready to offer you a taste of Christmas.
Forget your Aperol spritz and fruity IPAs of summer, where are talking spiced mulled wine, and creamy hot chocolates beneath a blanket of stars.
Matthew Findlay, head of UK Trails for Sony Music/Raymond Gubbay Ltd, said: “We are thrilled to launch a unique new Christmas Lights Trail. Our planning and preparation is well under way. There will be plenty to wow and surprise all visitors, young and old.”
The Christmas event in Leeds is set to take place from Thursday 8th December through to January 1st from 4:30pm each day until 10pm.
Tickets will set you back £19.50 for adults with children aged three to 16 from £15. Tickets for a family of four will be available from £70 also
