You Can Get £3 Cinema Tickets In Yorkshire For National Cinema Day This weekend

Looking to do something cheap and cheerful this weekend? Then you don’t want to miss out on an exciting chance to see your favourite films for just £3 a ticket for National Cinema Day.

Barbie and Oppenheimer are the biggest hits at the box office at the moment and you could see either for a small fee of £3 – can you believe it?

National Cinema Day is this Saturday 2nd December and you can celebrate by enjoying bargain ticket prices across Yorkshire.

The event sees 600 cineams across the country offering huge discounts on tickets this Saturday, from major chains to small independents. Last year saw more than 1.5million admissions for film screenings – more than three times the number for a typical day.

It’s just in time for the last family day out before the kids go back to school and normal life resumes.

Check your local cinema for pariticipation and if you’re going are a range of family friendly films such as Strays,Meg 2: The Trench, Mario Bros. Movie, Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Mavka: The Forest Song.

Chair of Cinema First Iain Jacob said in a statement: “There seems no better time than now to celebrate UK cinema-going, one of the nation’s favourite out-of-home leisure activities. Coming off of the back of recent box office successes and the huge profile they have given to the sector, we wanted to give everyone a chance to enjoy the big screen experience,”

“While all the evidence confirms that cinema-going is amongst the most low-cost, best value-for-money leisure opportunities, we also of course recognise that many households are still experiencing significant impacts on their finances and wanted to do our bit to make a trip to the cinema even more affordable for the whole family.”
