You Can Get Paid To Eat Cake & Watch New Series Of ‘Great British Bake Off’

Love Bake Off, and always fancy giving the desserts on the show a try? Then we have the dream job for you!

Great British Bake Off is back on our teles in a matter of weeks and you could be getting paid to eat cake whilst watching the show.

A company is looking to hire someone to watch season 14 of GBBO and eat the baked goods displayed on the popular show.

A family-run home rental company The Big House Experience, who are based in United Kingdom, is offering £400 salary plus £100 for ingredients to the person who is chosen to participate in this unique experience.

The company released a statement that read: “We are looking to hire one lucky applicant to carry out a taste test whilst cosying up to the latest GBBO series.”

“So, if you are a certified fan of Great British Bake Off and you know your Victoria Sponges from a lemon drizzle – then this could be the dream job made just for you.”

You’ll bake the cakes and baked goods to try which include Victoria sponge, Scones, Welsh cakes, shortbread, pasties, crumpets, sticky toffee pudding, Eccles cakes, bakewell tart, Chelsea bun, sausage rolls and pork pies.

Candidates must have access to a TV or a device where they can stream the show, and must also be able to get themselves to the shops to purchase the baked goods/ingredients for the recipes.

If you reckon you “will not miss an episode of GBBO” have a “refined palette” you’re the perfect candidate for the role.

“From Cartmel’s creation of the sticky toffee pudding to an iconic Cornish pasty from Cornwall, Britain is home to so many baked treats.

“However, to officially declare which one is the best, we are looking to hire one lucky applicant to carry out a taste test whilst cosying up to the latest GBBO series,” Big House Experience director and founder Gareth Allen adds.
