Dream job alert! If you’re a crisp fan from crinkle cut to baked, then we’ve got the job news for you. The budget supermarket Aldi is on the hunt for an official ‘Crisp Taster’ for the first time. You could be chowing down on all the flavours under the sun in the job of all jobs – all you have to do is apply.
Does this sounds to good to be true, or could it be the dream job you’ve been looking for? Well, we will tell you…
What the Crisp Taster role requires?
You will be asked to taste a selection of Aldi’s current and brand-new crips flavours for free, reporting your thoughts back to the supermarket helping them decide on the product range. It is literally the job I’ve been training for all my life.
The best thing of all, is you don’t even need to leave your house for this one. The successful applicant for Aldi’s new role will be sent the most popular crisps including Aldi’s Specially Selected Mature Cheddar & Red Onion Hand Cooked, the Snackrite Perfections Thai Sweet Chilli and Snackrite Saucy Nibbley Nobblies.
As well as the supermarkets top picks, you will be able to taste some of the new and exclusive flavours and products before anyone else – even before they head to the shelves across the UK. But, what does it take to be a crisp tester? You’ll need to rate the crisps on factors such as taste, crunch, texture and appearance to help the supermarkets Buying Team on potential new flavours.
If you’d like to apply for the role, you’ll need to be aged 16 or over and create a short application video explaining why you should be Aldi’s first ever Crisp Taster. In a video no longer then 1 minute. You will need to confirm you name, age and where you’re from as well.
Let Aldi know you favourite of the supermarket’s crisps and state why you think you should be the Crisp Tester and what you social handles are as well.
Once you’ve done this you’ll send your video via email to aldicrisptaster@clarioncomms.co.uk before 16th Jun. You’ll receive a selection of Aldi crisps the week commencing 17th June if successful. If you’ve not heard anything by 1st July, then you’ve not made the cut.
