Aldi patrons who enjoyed the supermarket’s massive pigs in blanket Yorkshire pudding last Christmas will be delighted to learn that this festive treat is making a comeback for the upcoming festive season. Aldi released it as a side but, we could easily see that off in one sitting and be ready for the rest of their new Christmas menu as well.
As part of Aldi’s most extensive array of pigs in blankets to date, the oversized 380g side features an impressive 60cm (two feet long) pig in blanket crafted from British pork, all encased within a substantial Yorkshire pudding. Priced at £4.99, this culinary marvel will be available for eager fans starting December 14th.
As well as this naughty treat, Aldi is introducing new additions to their lineup, such as a brie shaped like a candy cane and a cranberry-infused pig in blanket.
A novel creation for 2023 is the Yorkshire Pudding Wrap with Pigs in Blankets (£5.49, 391g), featuring two sausages wrapped in smoky bacon ensconced within a buttery Yorkshire pudding wrap. This delectable offering hits stores on November 30th.
For those seeking a show-stopping dish, Aldi presents the Specially Selected Brie and Cranberry Candy Cane Pig in Blankets. Priced at £2.99, this pig in blanket, shaped like a festive candy cane, boasts the flavours of punchy cranberry and creamy brie, available from December 7th.

Additionally, Aldi is launching the Specially Selected Pork, Maple & Chestnut Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£3.19) on December 7th, offering maple and chestnut-infused sausages enveloped in smoked streaky bacon.
For traditionalists, Aldi has brought back the Specially Selected Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 210g) from November 24. Plant-based options include the Plant Menu Ultimate Vegan Pigs in Blankets, featuring Aldi’s award-winning Ultimate No Pork Sausages wrapped in smoky vegan bacon, available from December 19 for £2.99 (228g).
Returning to shelves are the Specially Selected Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£2.49, 247g) in Classic and Caramelised Onion flavours, ideal for complementing festive dinners starting December 19. Lastly, shoppers can savour Aldi’s Specially Selected Pigs in Blanket Pizza (£4.49, 535g) from December 8th.
