We bloomin’ love a curry. There’s nothing better than heading out to your local curry house in your town with friends, family or just a date night with the other half. Give me a beer, a rogan josh with a side of rice and a cheeky naan and I’m a happy man. So, these awards caught my attention as I don’t think curry houses get the love they deserve.
Brought to you by Oceanic Awards who have published its finalists for the 14th annual English Curry Awards with regional featuring a range of Yorkshire restaurants from across the county, who will all meet for the announcement of the winner ceremony on August 11, 2025 at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.

Restaurants named include Sheffield, Leeds, York as well as other spots around Yorkshire. The awards aim to highlight the dedication of not only establishments in the industry but also individuals as well and is a great way to celebrate those in an industry that gives so much to its customers. I for one would love to applaud every spot that has made the list. And will be checking out some of these spots myself.
A spokesperson for the Curry Awards 2025, said: “These Awards promise to be a memorable event that honours the dedication and hard work of the nominees and celebrates the rich tapestry of flavours that the curry industry brings to the English culinary landscape.
“The Awards provide a platform to applaud the exceptional efforts of those who have made significant contributions to the curry sector and continue to elevate the nation’s love for curry. We would like to congratulate all of our finalists and wish them all the best of luck.”
