Amanda Owen, also known as The Yorkshire Shepherdess, has reportedly moved out of the family farm – according to insiders close to the couple. The news comes as it’s reported the Channel 5 star has been staying in the family rental property, with sources claiming Amanda and Clive’s 21-year marriage is on the rocks.
A source told The Sun: “It’s incredibly sad. Amanda and Clive are two hugely popular figures here in the Dales, and no one saw this coming.
“Clive loves Amanda to bits and adores her, and fears the marriage may be failing even though he desperately doesn’t want it to. He fears they will divorce.”

Adding that Clive “reckons the image of them playing happy families is a load of rubbish”, and that the upcoming series of Our Yorkshire Farm could actually be the last as a result.
“It’s incredibly sad. Amanda and Clive are two hugely popular figures here in the Dales, and no one saw this coming,” the source said. “Clive loves Amanda to bits and adores her, and fears the marriage may be failing even though he desperately doesn’t want it to. He fears they will divorce.”

The source also claimed that “the decision is very much in Amanda’s hands”, while Clive remains “desperate” to salvage their relationship. The pair are yet to comment on the reports.
Speaking on the claims for the first time, a representative for the couple told The Mirror that the pair have “not parted ways”, with a statement from the couple reading: “With the TV show and the books we’ve always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.
“We’re a normal family and we’ve never said our marriage is perfect. Unfortunately the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we’re going through.
“We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this.”
The couple shares nine children together, and currently star in Channel 5’s hit show, Our Yorkshire Farm, which centres around the family and their children’s lives at Ravenseat Farm.
The family have spent recent months renovating their new farm, Anty Johns, which is located in Upper Swaledale. Amanda is also currently touring the UK on her tour, Adventures of The Yorkshire Shepherdess: An Evening with Amanda Owen, with dates in Yorkshire this Autumn.
