We’ve been loving the current series of the BAFTA-winning BBC show Race Across the World! But, will the new series is currently still on air, the producers are already looking for the pairs to take on the epic race that takes you across continents. And, who better than good ol’ Yorkshire folk?
Now, I know that me and my partner have enough trouble getting around Yorkshire without squabbling. So, a trip to a different country that may not have English as a first language sounds like a recipe for disaster for us. But, maybe you think you and a partner, family member or friend think you’ve got what it takes to come out on top?
With a limited budget and without modern luxuries like tech and other things that make our lives so much easier, you’ll get the life-changing chance to experience some of the world’s most beautiful and remote locations.
If this sounds like a bit of you Studio Lambert, the studio behind the BBC hit show put out a casting call across the UK on the BBC website writing: “We are now accepting applications for the next series of Race Across the World. This experience is open to all, whether you’re a seasoned traveller or total novice.
“We want to hear what undertaking a trip like this would mean to you, and with a cash prize at stake, what lengths you would go to to win. Maybe you’re looking to change something in your life? Or are keen to share the journey with someone special like a family member, best friend, or someone you’ve lost touch with. You may even have a very personal reason for wanting to travel at this time in your life or explore a particular part of the world.”
