If you ask us, there’s no region as packed with idyllic scenes as ours. And this is absolutely one of them.
Tucked away in a Secret Garden by the iconic Malham Cove, Beck Hall offers a Dales dining experience like no other, thanks to its picturesque streamside venue that’s gathered quite the fan base over the years (which we, at The Yorkshireman, are 100% a part of).

Bringing Mediterranean vibes to their gorgeous garden in the most Yorkshire way possible, the restaurant is home to a fantastic ‘Yorkshire Tapas’ menu – which is packed full of afternoon-appropriate nibbles taking influence from not only our region, but some of the finest corners of the Med, too.

Made with locally-sourced produce, guests can chow down on dishes such as Wensleydale cheese croquettes, Yorkshire Dales chilli beef, Yorkshire Gin-infused charcuterie, as well as classics such as bruschetta and calamari, all the while enjoying the fantastic scenery provided by the stunning Malham Beck – which meanders its way to the hotel and restaurant from the Cove, before joining the River Aire just South of Malham.

Adding plenty of outdoor seating for guests to enjoy as we near towards the summer months, the restaurant offers a wonderful selection of draught beers and global wines, as well as some of the finest evening dishes for miles and miles.
The menu is frequently updated to ensure guests are able to enjoy the best possible selection of dishes, combining Mediterranean influences with inspiration taken right from their doorstep in the Yorkshire Dales.

To top it off, the beautifully decorated hotel is also 100% dog friendly, with four-legged friends permitted in all areas of the bar, restaurant and hotel. In the summer months, it’s not a rare sight to see playful pups splashing in the beck, while guests kick back in the sunshine enjoying Yorkshire Tapas and refreshing wines.

While, of course, the real pull here is the stunning garden that’s best enjoyed during the warmer months, the hotel is the perfect place to stay during the winter, too – offering cosy fireside seating, hearty meals, and huge free-standing tubs to warm up in the rooms after a long walk around beautiful Malham’s many nature spots.
