One of Britain’s biggest and best fish & chip chains is set to open in South Yorkshire. Papa’s fish & chips in Sheffield is set to be the chain’s 10th restaurant.
The new restaurant will be located at 200 Waterthorpe Greenway, in Beighton, Sheffield beside Crystal Peaks shopping centre that is opposite The Scarsdale Hundred Wetherspoon pub in the old Indian restaurant called Aagrah.
To celebrate its opening tomorrow Papas Fish & Chips are doing a special off of a medium fish & chips for just 1p all day! That’s right on Thursday 22nd December you can tuck into a medium fish and chips for just 1p.
The deal is only on at its new Sheffield venue, so if you’re in the Crystal Peaks shopping centre area in Sheffield make sure you pop in and give them a try.
Known as one of the most popular fish & chips in Yorkshire along with been named Britain’s best in a BBC show Best of British Takeaways hosted by chef Tom Kerridge in 2017.
Papas are known for their massive portion sizes when it comes to their fish & chips. You can expect massive fish coated in crispy batter with a whole load of golden fluffy chips on the side.

The chain is over 50 years old proving that the family business is thriving. The new Sheffield Papas fish & chips has been announced on Papa’s website although no opening date is yet to be announced.
The steel city will be quick to judge the new fish & chip shop as it is set to open with nine other restaurants scattered across the North.
Other restaurants include: Cleethorpes, Bilton, Hull, Kingswood, Willerby, Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby and more.
Papa’s manages to make the headlines with their innovative fish and chip drive-thru and their incredible two-foot battered pig in a blanket (which pretty much got us through the winter months).
