Things are about to go bump in the night – but more specifically, within Bolton Abbey’s stunning Strid Wood.
Celebrating Halloween with a spooky, family-friendly event, guests will be invited to step through the eery gates from October 23rd, before entering a gorgeous Autumnal world where pumpkins lurk in the shadows.

Starting at the Cavendish Shop, guests will be lead up the Strid, where they’ll need to navigate around the woods to find hidden clues in mystery boxes. Using a map and the giant pumpkins that are dotted around the woods, participants will need to use everything they uncover to solve the spooky puzzle.
Combining both the beautiful North Yorkshire landscape and the bewitching Bolton Abbey with Halloween fun for all ages, guests are bound to fall under the spell of the Strid, with plenty of auburn, Autumnal trees making up the woods, livestock in the fields and a powerful river flowing through.

The Pumpkin Trail will take place throughout half term from October 23-21 from 9am-4pm daily, with tickets available to pre-book here.
Pre-booking is required, and guests are advised to book the Riverside car park for the easiest access. Find Bolton Abbey just a short drive from Skipton, by the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
