The popular Yorkshire Dales pub Tan Hill Inn has made the news once again after customers were locked in due to snow for four days. This time Britain’s highest pub had the honour of Chris Moyles hosting his popular radio show on Radio X live from the pub in a birthday special.
Getting to the venue way up in the sticks proved mighty hard with Moyles train being cancelled and other problems, but the team made it and celebrated last night with a party after Chris and the crew arrived some hours later than expected.
This morning, band Noasis, who was also trapped in the pub for four days, performed live on Radio X. They played a medley of Oasis classics such as Roll With It, Live Forever and Half The World Away up on the hills in Tan Hill pub.
Back in November, the band, along with other customers who’d arrived to watch the tribute band they got trapped in by Storm Arwen, which had made landfall during the show and left staff, customers and the band trapped in the pub for three days.
Head over to the Tan Hill Inn Facebook page to catch some of the highlights of the show, or tune in for the last hour with the show finishing at 10am today.
