Yorkshire is becoming quite the haven for celebrities. First, film stars Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford visit to film their popular franchise films, and, now, BBC royalty Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli have swapped the ballroom for a trip around the UK in their new ITV travel series, ‘Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips’.
Stricly Come Dancing has been going for 19 series and a lot of this is down to the pantomime between Bruno and Craig who played the crown jester and the villian for the audience for the seasons they were the judges for. Could we expect a similar relationship on their new show or will be see a new side to both the Stricly duo?
Their six-part series that starts tonight follows the pair as they explore some of the country’s most beautiful road trips from Cornwall up to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Whilst we watch these surprise petrol heads in their buddy travel show, we will get to see the beautiful Yorkshire countryside at its best.
Along their travels, they visited the iconic Tan Hill Inn, which is the highest pub in the UK situated in the Upper Swaledale region of the Yorkshire Dales. Taking to social media today, the pub announced: “Guess where Craig & Bruno ended up on their Great British Road Trips.”
The show starring the Strictly pair starts tonight on ITV and looks to be a barrel of laughs as both are renowned for letting their feelings known, so we know there are sure to be fireworks.
The pair aren’t the first to take to the road, with Gordan Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo, and Fred Sirieix and their show ‘Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip’. The group were spotted filming their third season earlier this year in Greece.
