Filming Has Begun On ‘All Creatures Great And Small’ Series 5

Fans across the world have rejoiced as Channel 5 announced that they have commissioned All Creatures Great and Small series 5 & 6. They were also given a double dose of good news as it was announced that popular cahracter Tristan Farnan is set to return to the cast as well.

The Channel 5 reboot has quickly become the most popular show on Channel 5 with series 4 seeing 4.4 million viewers tune in to enjoy a piece of the action with the audience growing throughout the series. And, we aren’t surprised. The feel good community feel to the show is something that is missing in society – and people really connect to the stories of Herriot’s characters.

Not wasting any time, filming has begun in Grassington as it is once again set to transform into the fictional 1940s All Creatures village of Darrowby. Skeldale House has once again got its pillars and planters out front giving it its iconic look. Instagram page AllCreaturesFans shared a video showing the transformation with images to go along with it, which you can see below.

The actor who plays Seigfried Farnon also posted to his X account writing: “#AllCreaturesGreatAndSmall is starting. It’s always such sweet sorrow parting: Four series now begun in pun daze, On all the previous happy Mondays.
