First-Look Images & Release Date Announced For New Netflix Show ‘Fool Me Once’ Filmed In Yorkshire

The new Netflix series Fool Me Once has been given a release date along with first-look images. It is an adaptation of Harlan Coben’s book, that centres around Michelle Keegan’s character, Maya Starn, a former special ops pilot who grapples with the tragic murder of her husband, Joe, portrayed by Richard Armitage.

The plot takes a turn when she observes, via the nanny cam, a familiar face in her home—her supposedly deceased husband playing with their baby daughter. Adeel Akhtar’s character, Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce, spearheads the investigation into Joe’s death while wrestling with his own hidden truths.

Adding to the complexity, Maya’s niece and nephew, Abby and Daniel, seek answers about their mother’s murder months earlier. The looming question remains: could the two incidents be intertwined in some way?

“Harlan’s books are storytelling genius and it’s great to be entrusted once more in bringing his gripping stories of life. As always with our thrillers, expect twist upon twist and an emotional roller-coaster. Plus, the cast is phenomenal – audiences are in for a treat!”
