The Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen is said to making a new show for Channel 4 alongside Clive, The Mirror reports. Star of the show Channel 5 Our Yorkshire Farm alongside ex-husband Clive and their nine children, scooped an awards at the RTS Yorkshire Awards in the Features category for her Channel 4 show Amanda Owen’s Extraordinary Farming Lives.
Owen will be returning to Channel 4’s Our Farm Next Door as it follows Amanda, Clive and Reuben as they renovate their farmhouse Anty John’s, which they purchased during the last series of Our Yorkshire Farm. It is said that the production began back in August and is set to be aired next year.
We’ve had tasters of the renovation project as Reuben Owen, eldest male of the Owen’s nine children’s shared a post to Instagram showing Amanda and Clive working together to tackle the mammoth task of giving the rundown barn a new lease of life up in the Yorkshire Dales.
It looks like they’re set on transforming the spot that is just down the road from Ravenseat Farm as Reuben also posted a series of pictures alongside mum, Amanda, which showed them both pitching in on the project last month.
Reuben posted this week saying: “Me and Tom took the day of the diggers to give Mum and dad a hand taking the roof off Anty Johns. One amazing view from the scaffolding.”
Many folks, us included, at the of posting said that this needed to be a show and low and behold here it is potentially, Channel 4’s Our Farm Next Door. All our wishes come true. Nothing has been confirmed officially as of yet. But, this would be a dream come true for fans of Our Yorkshire farm get to see the gang reunite in an amazing transformation of the old dilapidated farm house.
