It seems that the TV presenter and star of the hit Prime Video show Clarkson’s Farm is at loggerheads with the council again. This time it’s over trees. Fans of the show will be well aware of Jeremy Clarkson’s run ins with the West Oxfordshire District Council in the previous series, and it seems it’s happened again.
First he faced blowback for his attempt to open a restaurant serving locally sourced produce and now is having problems with plans to plant some trees. Locals in the area have no sympathy for the Clarkson’s Farm presenter with one telling The Daily Mail: “Clarkson is just an abuser of planning laws. His farm is in an outstanding area of natural beauty and he must know there are strict planning laws, but he still puts them in just the same.
“It makes for good television, but they have no merit.”
Another agreed saying: “It is only there to make money and to promote his show. I don’t think anyone in the village has much sympathy for him, and they feel he has not brought anything to the area.”

However, not everyone is as cynical about the celebrity farmer with one person saying: “There has to be a balance between what he is doing and the community, but he is trying to make a venture here.”
This was seconded wit one person saying: “He has done so much for farmers and farming.”
Clarkson’s Farm season 3 is likely to be released in the summer of 2024, although this isn’t confirmed.
