Fancy releasing your inner Viking, maybe fancy yourself a bit of handyman, or just really like throwing stuff? Then do we have a place for you? ‘Game of Throwing’ in Hull allows you to lob axes as hard as you like at targets in a bid to beat your mates. Sounds amazing, we know.

Gaming bars, arcades and other such entertainment are becoming more prominent in cities once again, and it seems people are getting more and more creative as new games are coming out of the ether – one exciting new venture is urban axe throwing, which is pretty self-explanatory.
Located on Dock Street in the city centre, it’s the newest trend sweeping the nation, and it’s easy to see why. Think of it as darts, but with sweet as axes to lob instead. Whether you’re doing it with mates, taken the kids for a birthday, or going to let out a bit of steam – it’s definitely one to try this Christmas.

It’s scored pretty simply. You have to get the axe to stick in the target as close to the bullseye and ‘killshot’ as possible. The closer you get to the centre, the more points you score.

If this sounds like a bit of you, it costs just £20 per adult and £15 for 10 – 16-year-olds (Groups of 10-16-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult). This includes a 15-minute lesson on how to throw an axe, plus an hour on your lane.
If you’d like to try your hand at this new and exciting indoor urban axe throwing experience, then you can visit the Hull branch and get booked in here.
