The world’s favourite movie has become the world’s favourite musical and is out on its UK tour. You can enjoy all the classic tunes and favourite characters as they tread the boards. The Grease Musical is coming to Sheffield today (Tuesday 5th October) and will play through until Saturday the 9th of October.
Grease was a 1978 American musical romantic comedy film based on the 1971 musical of the same name, which is renowned for its classic score. The glitz and glamour of the high school musical see Danny and the girl-next-door Sandy unexpectantly reunited after a whirlwind summer romance at Rydell High for senior year.
You can hear the classic hits from the show such as ‘Greased Lightnin’, ‘Hopelessly Devoted to You’ and ‘You’re the One That I Want’, whilst watching the trials and tribulations of teenage life in high school.
Watch as the Pink Ladies help Sandy make her way in a new school and the Burger Place Boys as they get up to their hilarious antics in the reimagined Grease Musical.
