2020 has already been an exciting year for pastry fans, and it’s not slowing down just yet. After major success with their brand new vegan steak bake, Gregg’s are hitting that sweet spot once again by confirming they’ll be rolling out a nationwide delivery service THIS YEAR!
Following trails of different delivery platforms including JustEat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo in a number of major cities, the bakery chain has now announced that they’re almost ready to roll it out for the rest of us, allowing Gregg’s fans to get their beloved sausage rolls and more delivered straight to their door.

Speaking to City AM about the decision, chief exec Roger Whiteside said:
“What we have been doing for more than a year is trialling in different places and different partners and we have learned enough to decide that we are interested in rolling out across the country.”
While it’s definitely great news – unfortunately the brand are not revealing further details at this time, with no information on exactly what areas will qualify and what delivery partner they’d be using.
In other exciting Gregg’s news, it looks like their vegan range is set to expand sooner than we thought – with rumours swirling that their next vegan product would be a vegan chicken item.
The Sun has reported that the chief exec discussed their growing vegan range, saying “[Vegan] chicken is a way forward. I have seen some good products out there.”
While that’s only a slight inkling towards what’s in store for Gregg’s, it’s safe to say their vegan products have been a huge hit with both vegan and non-vegan fans since their debut.
