Popular fast food chain German Doner Kebab are set to takeover In Leeds very, very soon, with five restaurants confirmed to open across the city.
Well known for its gourmet kebabs, the chain has restaurants worldwide, with over 40 locations currently open in the UK.
The business is currently undergoing a huge expansion period, which will see a ton of new restaurants open nationwide – with the Leeds restaurant being a first for Yorkshire.
Speaking of the opening, Daniel Bunce, German Doner Kebab managing director for UK and Europe, has said:
“Our Leeds opening marks the latest chapter in our ambitious growth plans as we bid to head into 2020 with a bang.
“The UK’s appetite for our delicious gourmet kebabs and extensive range of sides means that it is only right we continue to forge ahead with our strong growth plans and bring GDK to one of Britain’s most iconic cities.
“Our Leeds opening is just the latest in a line of key strategic locations that we believe will bolster our mission to bring our unique product to even more consumers while reaffirming our commitment to creating significant job opportunities across the UK.”
The first of its five restaurants is set to open before 2020 ends, with the other four following shortly after.
German Doner Kebab’s menu includes a variety of doner-filled items to choose from including traditional kebabs, low calorie options, burgers, quesadillas and high protein boxes. Other highlights include their much loved Flaming Fries, and side options such as Doner topped nachos and Doner spring rolls.
An opening date is yet to be announced, however stay tuned for further updates in the future.
