This Architectural Barn With Views Of Hebden Bridge Is Beyond Beautiful
The ultimate hideout in Hebden Bridge!

Sometimes, a hideaway is essential for your health, particularly so when that hideaway is absolutely stunning. Dr. Yorkshireman says so.

Tucked away behind Cragg Vale, this hideaway in particular fuses history with modern architecture, creating “spellbinding” views of the Vale and beyond. The home itself was built with the remnants of what is being named the Old Cragg Hall Barn, developing a country bolthole for those in need of some peace and quiet.

The Old Cragg Barn is an historic building regenerated into a luxury, contemporary space, elevated above the vale to provide unspoiled views of the Yorkshire countryside. It’s quintessentially idyllic, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that open up the space – and the endless views.

Step out onto the terrace, and you’ll be greeted by the rolling hills of the Vale, a real feast for the eyes while you wash down a glass of Vino, or your morning cuppa.

While the space looks small and cosy from the outside (and cosy it is!), inside shows just how open the converted barn is, with three bedrooms inside allowing for six guests. It has to be said, however, that the views and secludedness make for the perfect romantic getaway with your loved one.

Situated by the Calder Valley on the grounds of a 17th century hall, the rural spot is just a short walk to Cragg and Cragg Vale, with two pubs close by to grab a pint at. The hideaway is also just a 15 minute drive from Hebden Bridge and only 35 minutes from Huddersfield, so you can enjoy the wonders that West Yorkshire has on offer with ease.

The cosy converted barn is available to book via Coolstays, and you can find out more here.
