Hull May Be Getting A Fun Gaming Bar With Quirky Cocktails As New Plans Lodged

Exciting news for Hull and East Yorkshire folk, as the former Hammonds of Hull could be set for a transformation into a adults games bar that have become increasingly popular across the county in cities like Sheffield, Leeds and York. And, now Hull could be set to have the fun spots to enjoy time with friends or an alternative date spot.

Lane7 Ltd, who sites across the UK including in Sheffield, has taken the next steps with a planning application lodged. If successful, which we really think it needs to be, Lane7 Hull would have bowling alleys, karaoke rooms, beer pong and shuffle board tables as well as arcade games and even axe throwing!

The company is aimed at families during the day, but are for adults after 7pm. The currently have sites across the UK including Sheffield in South Yorkshire. This would definitely transform the bottom floor of the building, which has been left empty since the food court closed last year.

The Sheffield branch always has great food offerings from the likes Fat Hippo burger spot, so we could expect more fantastic food offerings along with cocktails and beer.

Lane 7’s plans would see 11 bowling alleys installed on the right of the entrance to Ferensway. Plans also include six pool tables, six shuffle boards, four beer pong tables and six table tennis. The arcade games include a a virtual ace throwing machine Axe Master a Pump It Up dance stage, air hockey, and four NBA basketball hoops.

You can also enjoy a sing-song, if approved with two karaoke rooms, which include seating areas. The application says that the venue would serve drinks and has applied for an alcohol licence for the venue. Lane 7’s approved licence would see alcohol served from 10am to 1am, Monday to Sunday.
