Jeremy Clarkson Answer Rumours That ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ Scenes Are ‘Staged’

After series three of the popular Amazon Prime Video show Clarkson’s Farm aired this month, Jeremy Clarkson has spoken out about some fans comments that the show is ‘scripted and staged’. The series marked Clarkson’s fifth year in charge of the farm in Oxfordshire that he’s owned since 2008.

Series three of Clarkson’s Farm took us right back to Diddly Squat Farm and we have binged the whole thing. We were taken on a whirlwind of emotions from the hilarious arguments of Kaleb and Jeremy, to Gerald’s heartbreaking news, and enjoying the addition of cute pigs to Diddly Squat Farm.

The show has been viewed by millions and sits at the top of Prime Video’s most-watched chart. With good reason, as well as highlighting many problems in the farming industry, the show offers light entertainment with a stunning backdrop of the British countryside. What more could you want?

But, some people aren’t convinced that we are being shown what goes on in real life on the farm. With real highs and lows. One fan showed his appreciation for series three posting to X: “One of the best programmes you’ve created. Not that it takes much creating. Your job of simply running the farm and highlighting the issues of British farming makes for excellent television. A superb job you’re all doing.”

To which Jeremy replied: “”You’re dead right. It isn’t created or written or planned. The cameras just film us doing stuff.” With hovercrafts fertilising and other scenes some people weren’t convinced.

What is for sure, is that Clarkson’s Farm is bloomin’ good tele – and we live safe in the knowledge that we’ve got series four on the way. So, we can see more of Clarkson with his gang of Lisa, Kaleb, Gerald, and Cheerful Charlie.

The world of farming is fraught with moments of joy and real lows. And, maybe sometimes that what’s hard to take when watching such a show. All we know is we can’t wait for the next series. Cheers Jezza.
