Popular North York Moors-filmed The Yorkshire Auction House is officially set to return for series 3 and 4, with fans loving it so much, producers have planned a Scotland-based spin-off of the wholesome show.
Set in Kirkbymoorside, where star Angus Ashworth’s auction house is, the show followers the auctioneer as he hunts through people’s unwanted belongings, digging out antique gems along the way.
The show was officially renewed for a third series earlier this year, however, Warner Bros has now confirmed that the show will continue beyond that – with two special celebrity spin-off series in the works, too. The first of the two celebrity editions will air in November this year on the Really channel, while fans can expect to wait until 2023 for more of the flagship version of the show.
So far, Anneka Rice, Sid Owen and Jennie Bond are confirmed to make appearances in the celebrity episodes.

STV Studios. -who produces the show – have also begun work on The Edinburgh Auction House spin-off, which will follow auctioneer Sybelle Thomson as she hunts for treasures in people’s homes and auctions them off in her three auction houses. The Edinburgh spin-off follows a high appetite for Yorkshire programming.
Casting agents put out a call for participants earlier this year, with Yorkshire folk encouraged to take part if they’ve got lots of hand-me-downs that could be of value.
The casting call reads: “Do you have a house to clear? Are you downsizing? Would you like to be part of an exciting TV series? Get in touch to hear more!

“STV Studios invite you to apply to take part in a heart-warming TV series fronted by expert auctioneer Angus Ashworth.
“He might find unknown treasures in your home and, if you were happy, anything of value would be carefully packed up and transported to go under Angus’s gavel at auction.
“STV Studios will put selected contributors in touch with Ryedale Auctioneers. If you decide to go ahead with them, we would like to help you celebrate those hidden gems and curios and have a surprising and uplifting journey of discovery.
“A bit of cash might even be made along the way.”
Those wanting to be a part of the show can email takepart@yorkshireauctionhouse.tv.
