Asian Fast Food Giant Jollibee Is Coming To Leeds – And It Sounds Amazing

It’s a world-famous fast-food chain and Jollibee, Leeds is opening next month. Hailing from the Philippines, this chain is known for its fried chicken and putting a tropical twist on western fast-food classics.

When the brand opened in London it had quite the cult following, with 72-hour queues for a taste of this new fast-food joint. Some say it is even better than KFC! Can it be so? We can’t wait to find out.

Jollibee Leeds

The new Leeds opening of Jollibee is on the 10th May, and the new restaurant will be found on Briggate in the city centre. It’ll be open from 10am to 10pm and will be a very popular choice for the city dwellers.

We are suckers for fried chicken when we’ve had a few bevvies, so we will be one of the first in line to see what this new place has to offer. This opening will be the fourth in the UK and has unique combinations like crispy fried chicken with a side of sweet spaghetti.

Expect crispy, juicy and tasty fried chicken, as well as burgers, hotdogs and fries that can be enjoyed with a range of refreshing drinks.

Their Tropical Chicken Burger is the one to try from what we’ve heard. It comes in a soft brioche bun with a cripsy chicken breast, pineapple, cheese lettuce and Asian Ginger Chillie sauce.

Speaking about the opening Adam Parkinson, Vice President of Jollibee Europe said: “Leeds is an incredible city filled with culture and great food.

“We are excited for the people of Leeds to take their first bite of our £3.99 chicken burgers and our brand new spicy version, which we are adding tothe menu this month.”
