If you’re like us, then you’ll know there is nothing better than a doner kebab, and a Christmas dinner. So, the fact the guys at I Am Doner in Leeds have married the two once together to create the most festive takeaway offering ever.
I Am Doner is a mainstay of the Leeds food scene. Having grown to have two stores in Leeds; its Headingley home and in the city centre on Infirmary Street. They also have a store in in the spa town of Harrogate as well. These are no ordinary kebabs. The founder Paul was trained in Michelin starred restaurants and wanted to make the doner kebab more than just a guilt pleasure.
And, he’s managed that and then some. There are a total of 53 ingredients in their eight award winning kebabs. You get the taste of great quality food, with that feeling of a naughty kebab after a night out.
The Christmas dinner kebab has had the same care. It is packed full of honey and sage roast turkey doner with roast potatoes, shredded sprout, crispy parsnips, red cabbage, root vegetable and cranberries, smothered in turkey gravy – all in a wrap or in a bowl.
We got stuck into a juicy Christmas dinner kebab and were absolutely blown away by the flavoursome offerning. The kebab was jam-packed full of all those flavours you want from your festive lunch. We had a side of the fries and kebab as well, washed down with a fantatic mince pie flavoured milkshake.
The special will run from Thursday 9th November to the end of December in all UK stores, so make sure you get down and give it a try.
