Friday chippy tea is a must in Yorkshire, whether you like standard fish & chips, battered sausage or a fish cake. Traditional fish & chips are unbeatable, but what would you say to this little twist on the classic in the form of Masala fish & chips? KeSam Fish & Chip shop in Yorkshire has created this reinvention and we can’t wait to try it.
The twist includes a lightly spiced batter drizzled a lively masala dressing and garnished with chillies, spring onions and coriander – then even more masala. Their masala sauce is their own recipe that they’ve refined over time. We are very excited to give this new creation a go.
They also do a masala fish butty which is a similar concoction to their fish & chips with the masala dressing chilli peppers, spring onions and coriander. They cook their fish & chips using dripping in the traditional Yorkshire fashion, which is what we love to hear.
Not to just leave their creative efforts to their mains – you can also get Nutella samosas which will curb, and sweet tooth’s cravings.
Found in Huddersfield, you can visit from 11:30am to 7:30pm on Leeds Road. If you’d like to find out more about them you can visit their Facebook page here to see all the beautiful things they have on their menu.
