Now, I’ll say it how it is. I am a person who can really take or leave a bag of crisps. They just don’t do it for me. But what I do realise is that my anti-crisp trait is very, very rare. They’re a British food staple, after all – and despite my apparent lack of taste, there’s a flavour for virtually everyone.
If you’re one of the 99% that does like the salty, potatoey snack, you’ll probably be pretty buzzing to hear that thanks to one Yorkshire bar, you can now enjoy them on a bottomless basis in a pub environment – which, I can imagine if you’re a crisp enthusiast, is quite the dream come true.
Taking place at Kicks Bar & Grill in Hull this month, guests are invited to fill up on tons of British classics to their heart’s content in the bars second bottomless crisps event, with an announcement post reading: “Who’s up for CRISP PARTY 2! Friday 31st March! Let’s do it all again!
“Get ready to munch and crunch at our Bottomless Crisp Buffet for 90 minutes! Indulge in all your favourite current and retro crisps including Space Invaders, Discos, Nik Naks, Hula Hoops and more!”
“And don’t forget the bread and butter to make crisp butties.”

Adding: “we’ve got a live DJ who will keep the party going all night long with all the best cheesy hits.
“Dress in your comfiest snack-eating attire and get ready to enjoy the night with friends, while munching on the best crisps. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind party experience!”
Guests can expect top-tier crisps such as Monster Munch, Doritos, Discos, Skips and more, which can be mixed and matched at the bar’s buffet crisp station.
Guests are also welcome to help themselves to bread and butter, too, to create their own crisp butties – which can also be washed down with Kicks’ very own cocktails.
Taking place on 31st March, tickets cost just £12.95 per person (including all the crisps you can manage in 90 minutes, bread, butter and sauces) and you can find out more here.
