A Huge 200-Seat Pop Up Beer Garden Is Coming To Sheffield City Centre This Month

It’s time to make up for lost time with mates, and cities are coming up with genius ways to create spaces in which people can safely meet when the next step in lockdown arrives. The newest business to create an amazing outdoor seating area is Lane7 pop-up in Sheffield, which will be temporarily taking over Plug nightclub and hosting and 200-person dining space due to open the 12th of April.

Lane7, the boutique bowling alley in the centre of town, has taken over Plug’s car park and created a cool outdoor seating space where folk can grab a beer and some street food with their family and friends. If that didn’t already sound amazing enough – you can chill out and watch their huge 6mx3m screen.

Taking to their Facebook, they wrote: “We’re building something EPIC. Coming to the City Centre on April 12. Street food. Big bar. GIANT screen. Tag the mate you’re meeting at our pop-up”

Its opening times will be 4pm until late Monday to Thursday, opening earlier on the weekends from 11am until 4pm. It’s an exciting time for the hospitality sector who have been hit hardest during the pandemic.

Ever creative, they are coming up with new ways to make money during this difficult period, and we can’t wait to hear more about this new Lane7 pop-up in Sheffield this spring.

The government’s roadmap out of lockdown states that beer gardens and outdoor venues can open from the 12th of April. So we expect to be busy this April with all these amazing pop-ups that keep arising.

We will be posting more information about this event as it comes up. If you would like to get booked in, visit their website here.

Sheffield is also playing host to Yorkshire’s first-ever chocolate festival this year in Kelham Island. There will be all sorts of chocolatey goodness to get involved in, so if you’re a big fan of choccie make sure that you check it out here.
