Leeds Christmas Markets are officially set to return this winter, with the festive event opening in the city centre on Wednesday, 19th November.
The markets are returning under new owners, Thors Tipi, with a renewed focus on bringing local food, drink and independent retailers to the heart of the city. A number of Yorkshire businesses have already been announced, including La Grassa, The Savvy Baker, Stump Cross Caverns and Real Markets Yorkshire, with more traders expected to be revealed in the run-up to the opening.

There will also be plenty of entertainment throughout the festive season, including free live music and singalongs from Green Room. Thursdays will bring a touch of glamour to the city centre with Cabaret Thursdays hosted by Bibis Italianissimo, promising something for everyone as the Christmas celebrations get underway.
Keeping visitors up to date with everything happening at the markets will be official correspondent Jimmy Chews, who will be sharing behind-the-scenes updates, introducing some of the traders and giving people a closer look at what they can expect before the markets open.
