Christmas is that time of year when the diet goes out the window ā and all the calorific treats are consumed in huge quantity. Or, maybe thatās just us here at The Yorkshireman? One treat that had us salivating was the moist-maker sandwich at popular brunch spot Nibble in Hull. Inspired by Rossā Gellar from sitcom Friends sarnie ā itās an absolute knockout.
The annual Christmas special is in its 9th year and is based on the thanksgiving sandwich from Friends. It is made up of a range of festive treats such as a classic sage & onion stuffing, succulent herb & garlic turkey, pigs in blankets, crispy roasties and ā of course ā gravy.
The sandwich is especially iconic due to its āmoist makerā, which is Monicaās gravy soaked slice of bread in the middle that adds that extra oomph to the sandwich that will have you heading back again and again to try.
If the sandwich, which is a meal in itself, wasnāt enough, you also receive extra roasties and pigs in blankets. And, you wouldnāt be in Yorkshire without gravy ā and Nibble serve their special with a mug of gravy for dipping.

If youāre in the area, we advise that you give this cheeky festive special a go. And try not to shout āMyyyy Sandwichā, in the voice of Ross Gellar.

As well as the tasty sarnie special, Nibble serve up a range of fantastic breakfast and brunch classics and little twists such as their take on my favourite dish a good olā eggs benny served with a 4oz rib eye steak. And, they also have top notch coffees and sweet treats for you to enjoy.
