The news that Haven Primrose Valley Holiday Park in Filey along the Yorkshire Coast is set to get a new Wetherspoons – not only that – the first of its kind went viral with people excited about the unique partnership.
The Haven Wetherspoons will be the first Wetherspoons on a holiday park in the UK and could mark the beginning of a new partnership. It’s set to open in Filey in March and is seeking a new licence for the venue from the North Yorkshire Council.
Set to be named ‘Wetherspoons at Primrose’, it wants to change the start time for serving alcohol from 10am to 8am – two hours earlier than the current permitted time. It’s just one change as the layout of the venue is also set to change according to documents sent to the North Yorkshire Council.
The cut-off time for alcohol will remain the same, which is set out at 2am in the current licence.
Haven is one of the top UK holiday parks in the UK and is coming together for a new JD Wetherspoon pub at the Filey location. The pub chain boasts over 800 pubs across the UK and Ireland – and is set to join a fantastic array of chain restaurants at the North Yorkshire holiday park such as Burger King, Slim Chickens and Costa Coffee to name a few.
